What Your Day Might Feel Like With Me There

Some days can't be staged. They just have to be lived, and quietly kept.

This is a walk through what that might look like — the day itself, and the months on either side of it. A few images along the way, too.

Take your time here. See if it feels like yours.

MY LIFE & MY WORK.

When I was seven, I opened a Christmas gift that quietly changed everything: a little film camera. I had no idea that moment would spark a decades-long love for storytelling. After four years of shadowing a professional photographer and investing in my own gear, I stepped into a world I’ve now made my career—capturing honest, emotive moments that matter.

Photography has taught me how to see people—not just pose them. I’m drawn to genuine laughter, quiet connection, and the beauty in fleeting moments. Whether it’s a full wedding day or an intimate elopement in the wild, I show up to tell your story in a way that feels natural, nostalgic, and true to you.

Let’s document something unforgettable together.

01. BEFORE THE CEREMONY

I get there early, before the noise starts. There's something quiet in a room before it becomes a wedding — light through a window, a dress still on its hanger, hands held for the last time as two separate people. I stay close, but out of the way. Getting ready, the first look, vows written in the margins of a notebook. I'm not directing this part. I'm just paying attention.

02. CEREMONY & VOWS

The walk down the aisle. The moment you see each other and forget anyone else is watching. I'm looking for the small things — a shaking hand, a held breath, the look on your mother's face. Not just the ceremony itself, but everything happening around its edges.

Guests dancing and celebrating at a rustic barn wedding reception with warm string lights overhead.

03. RECEPTION

This is where the day exhales. Toasts that make you cry-laugh. A first dance, a little off-beat and completely unrehearsed. Aunts on the dance floor by ten o'clock. I'll be in the corners, catching what's real instead of staging what looks good.

Elegant wedding flat lay with pearl necklace, gold ring box, ribbon, champagne glass, and wedding invitations on dark surface.

04. ONE MONTH BEFORE

We talk before we ever stand in the same room on your wedding day. A call, a few questions, a walk through your timeline — so nothing about the day feels like guesswork. Just clarity, and a little less to carry.

05. THE WEDDING DAY

I arrive early to feel out the light and the room. From there, I mostly stay quiet. A little direction when it's needed, but mostly I let the day move the way it wants to move — and follow it.

06. AFTER THE WEDDING

You'll see a few images within a couple of days — enough to remember how it felt while it's still fresh. The full gallery follows in the weeks after, delivered somewhere you can hold onto, download, and pass around to the people who were there.

"There is a photograph everywhere, it is the photographer's job to catch it."

FAQ

Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Anything within 50 miles is included. Beyond that, travel is a simple flat fee based on distance — I'll walk you through it when we talk.

How long until we see our photos?

A few sneak peeks within days of your wedding. The full gallery follows in the weeks after — sooner rather than later, but never rushed.

What should we wear?

Neutrals, soft textures, and pieces you can move in. Whatever you choose, wear it like it's already yours — that's what reads truest in photos.

When should we book our wedding photographer?

Most couples book 9 to 12 months out, sooner for peak season. If your date is close, reach out anyway. I'll always tell you honestly if it's still open.

What if we're not really "camera people"?

Most people aren't, at first. I don't pose so much as guide gently. The goal is for you to forget I'm even there.

What if it rains?

Then it rains. Weather doesn't cancel a wedding, and some of the most honest photos come from the moments no one planned for.
